Colin, your instructor, is a member of APGAI Ireland.

Instruction is available in the use of single handed rods with levels ranging from beginner to advanced. Tuition can be tailored to suit individual clients needs, for example:

Beginners

  • Introduction to tackle and how to assemble it
  • Explanation of how everything works
  • Basic roll and overhead casts
  • Common faults connected with these casts and how to correct them

Experienced Anglers – may wish to learn or improve:

  • Jump roll
  • Snake roll
  • Single & Double spey
  • Single & Double haul
  • Aerial mends
  • Advice on how to improve distance, accuracy and how to deal with windy conditions
